The 11th Lefkoşa Marathon that will be held on October the 22nd, 2023 is an annual and traditional event with thousands of Cypriot runners and many others from different parts of the world. This year, the Lefkoşa marathon has been organized for supporting the foundation of the Campus of the Education of Champion Angels in the TRNC to keep their memoirs alive. NEU Faculty of Sports Sciences will be at the marathon with its 96 students as volunteered referees under the community service practices alongside their faculty member, Associate Professor Dr Emete Yağcı.
