Our department, which was opened in 1997 as the Near East University (NEU) School of Physical Education and Sports, has been continuing its educational activities within the NEU Faculty of Sports Sciences since June 2018. The Recreation Department of our institution, which is the first school of physical education and sports in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and subsequently the first faculty of sports sciences, has been continuing its activities since 2019.
