Biography
Hakan Atamtürk was born in Nicosia in 1968. He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching in 1992. After completing his master's degree at the Near East University School of Physical Education and Sports, he started his doctoral education at the Near East University Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Management, Supervision, Economics and Planning. In 2011, he defended his doctoral thesis titled "Comparative Analysis of Teachers and Principals Working in Secondary Schools towards the Perceptions of Emotional Intelligence and Performance Management" and received his doctorate title.
In 2012, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Near East University. In 2018, he was entitled to receive the title of associate professor at Near East University Physical Education and Sports Sciences and was appointed to the associate professorship.
Assoc. Prof Hakan Atamtürk's active duties are: NEU Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool Director, NEU Health, Culture and Sports Department Head, NEU Sports Development Club President, Head of the Recreation Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
Many articles in national and international indexed journals; Assoc. Prof. participated in congresses and symposiums. , Assoc. Prof Hakan Atamturk. He is married and has a child.
