Biography
Deniz Erdağ graduated from Near East University School of Physical Education and Sports, "Sports Management" and "Physical Education Teaching" departments with "High Honor" degrees in 2002. He completed his "Master's Degree" in the field of "Education Management and Supervision" in 2004. In 2019, he completed his PhD degree at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports, with the thesis titled "Comparison of Electromyographic and Kinemtaic Analyzes of Back and Front Squat Movements".
He has been serving as the Head of the Coaching Education Department of the Near East University Faculty of Sports Sciences since January 2018, and as the Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Near East University Graduate Education Institute as of 2021. In December 2023, he completed the criteria for Promotion and Appointment as a Faculty Member of Near East University and gained the title of "Associate Professor".
Deniz Erdağ, who has many national and international articles, is a member of the "European College of Sports Sciences" (ECSS) and International Federation of Sports Medicine" (FIMS), European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) Turkish Register of Exercise Professionals, which operates in the field of Sports Sciences and health. He is a member of (TREPS). He continues to serve as the Chairman of the Training Board of the TRNC Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation and the TRNC Archery Federation.
Deniz Erdağ was appointed as the President of the TRNC Natural Disaster Search and Rescue Association, which was established after the disaster of February 6th century.
